Overview
Keys Moto is a professionally managed motorcycle fleet operated by Signature Service Management LLC ("SSM") in Big Pine Key, Florida. All motorcycle rentals are processed through a licensed third-party peer-to-peer rental platform. These Rental Terms & Conditions supplement the platform's Terms of Service and the Rider Supplemental Agreement executed at check-out.
Renter Eligibility
All renters must meet the following requirements without exception:
- Minimum age 25 (ages 21–24 considered with clean driving record and additional deposit at SSM's discretion)
- Valid motorcycle endorsement on a current, non-suspended U.S. or international driver's license
- Pass platform identity verification, background check, and driving record screening
- Valid payment method on file with the rental platform
- Platform insurance coverage confirmed and active before key release
Booking & Reservations
- All bookings are made through our rental platform partner; SSM does not accept direct bookings or cash payments
- Reservation confirmation, cancellation policies, and refund terms are governed by the rental platform's Terms of Service
- SSM reserves the right to decline any renter at its sole discretion for safety reasons, regardless of platform approval
Check-Out Process
Every rental includes a mandatory in-person check-out:
- SSM verifies renter identity and motorcycle endorsement in person
- Renter executes SSM's Rider Supplemental Agreement acknowledging GPS monitoring, speed enforcement, geofencing, and penalty terms
- SSM conducts a walk-around orientation of the specific motorcycle, including controls, safety features, and operational characteristics
- Condition photos and odometer reading are documented
- Fuel level is recorded
- Keys are released
No unattended check-outs. No lockboxes. No exceptions.
Check-In / Return Process
- Motorcycle must be returned to the designated SSM location at or before the scheduled return time
- SSM conducts a walk-around inspection with the renter present
- Condition photos and odometer reading are documented
- Fuel level is verified (must match check-out level)
- Any damage, discrepancies, or concerns are noted and photographed
- Renter signs off on the return condition report
Insurance Coverage
- Insurance is provided by the rental platform, not by SSM
- Liability coverage is available per platform terms; renters may have the option to purchase supplemental coverage up to $1,000,000 at booking
- Physical damage coverage is available up to $30,000 per incident per platform terms
- Coverage is active only during the confirmed rental period (check-out to check-in)
- Renters are responsible for any deductible or excess amounts per platform policy
- Coverage may be voided by renter misconduct including impaired operation, unauthorized riders, off-road use without approval, or violation of rental terms
GPS Monitoring & Speed Enforcement
Every motorcycle in our fleet is equipped with GPS tracking:
- Real-time location and speed are monitored throughout the rental
- Maximum speed threshold: 80 MPH unless a lower limit applies by law
- Sustained speed (10+ seconds) above the threshold constitutes a violation
- Geographic boundaries are set to Monroe County, Florida (Key Largo to Key West) unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Violations trigger penalties per the Rider Supplemental Agreement signed at check-out

| Illegal activity | Full forfeiture + banned + law enforcement |
Penalties are cumulative. Full terms in the Rider Supplemental Agreement.
Mileage
Default mileage limit: 150 miles per day. Excess mileage may incur additional charges as specified at booking.
Helmets & Safety Gear
SSM provides DOT-certified loaner helmets at no additional charge upon request. Florida law requires helmets for riders under 21 and for all riders without at least $10,000 in medical insurance coverage. SSM recommends helmet use for all riders regardless of legal requirement.
Prohibited Uses
- Racing, stunting, or trick riding
- Off-road operation (unless Owner has opted in and renter has accepted Off-Road Policy)
- Allowing any person other than the named, platform-verified renter to operate the motorcycle
- Towing or pushing any vehicle or object
- Operating while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or medication
- Transporting hazardous materials
- Any unlawful activity
- Leaving the approved geographic zone without written SSM approval
Damage & Accident Reporting
Renter must report any accident, damage, theft, or mechanical issue to SSM within one (1) hour of the incident. Failure to report within this window results in a $500 penalty and potential full damage liability.
In the event of an accident:
- Ensure personal safety and call 911 if needed
- Do not admit fault
- Contact SSM immediately
- Document the scene with photos if safe to do so
- Obtain a police report if law enforcement responds
- Do not leave the motorcycle unattended at the scene
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies are governed by the rental platform's Terms of Service. SSM does not process refunds directly.
Limitation of Liability
SSM's role is limited to fleet management and operational logistics. SSM is not a party to the rental agreement between the renter and motorcycle owner. To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, SSM's liability for any claim arising from a rental shall not exceed the total rental fees paid for the specific rental in question.
